North American Equities

Our North American Equity team is based in the greater Philadelphia area. It works closely with the other developed markets desks, including our global equity team in Edinburgh. Our dedicated US portfolios are highly focused, and, as with other equity funds, we avoid tactical trading and market timing in favor of identifying stocks with good long-term fundamental value.

* On October 1, 2007, AAMI acquired the active US equity asset management business from Nationwide Financial Services, Inc. (NFS). The acquisition included investment personnel and sales professionals associated with NFS's suburban Philadelphia operation. This team is currently being transitioned into the Aberdeen Group. The information provided relates to the legacy Aberdeen equity investment team.
