TMI Foods

In October 2006 TMI Foods, a market leader in the UK in sales of microwave cooked bacon, other pork products and grilled vegetables, was sold to Irish competitor Dawn Farm Foods Limited for an undisclosed sum. The sale secured a 3.1x money return for Aberdeen clients and an internal rate of 47%. The Birmingham office of Aberdeen originally supported the £4m management buy-out of TMI in February 2003. TMI employs 170 people at two sites in the UK and in 2005 had a turnover of around £14m.
