Mining Communications

In October 2006 Mining Communications, the world's leading publisher of global mining and construction information, was sold to a consortium of investors headed by Australian group Aspermont for an undisclosed sum. The Birmingham office of Aberdeen supported the acquisition of the business back in May 2003 in a £2.2m transaction. The sale of Mining Communications has generated a return of 1.9x the original cost to Aberdeen client funds.
