Appointment - Joe Wiley

Aberdeen Asset Managers Private Equity Division has appointed Dr Joe Wiley as Investment Manager in their Leeds office.

Joe joins Aberdeen to focus on the White Rose Technology Seedcorn Fund, a £6 million early stage technology transfer fund that was formed by a consortium of the Universities of Leeds, Sheffield and York. He will also be fulfilling a wider role in looking at private equity investments.

Previously Joe worked for Inventages Venture Capital in Geneva where he was an Investment Manager focusing on life science investments. Prior to that, he worked for the Mayo Clinic in the USA and Ireland where he was a Pharmaceutical Clinical Trials Chief Investigator.

Joe has a MA from INSEAD, a Masters of Business Administration from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, a MRCPI from the Royal College of Physicians in Ireland and a degree in Medicine from Trinity College in Dublin.
