Appointment - Ian Slater

Aberdeen Asset Managers Private Equity Division has appointed Ian Slater as Investment Director in its London office.

Following the recent restructuring of the business into two teams, Private Equity and Growth Capital, Ian will join the Private Equity team which is focused on deals valued at between Ł10 million to 50 million across the UK. The team has a focus on support services, specialist manufacturing, consumer and leisure and financial services. Ian will expand investment in these areas to build on recent deals such as Styles & Wood, Plaxton and Driver Hire.

Ian has over 8 years of experience in private equity, both as an adviser and an investor. Ian was previously at Deloitte Corporate Finance where he advised companies, management teams and investors on a wide range of mid-market transactions.
