Training for Travel Limited

In April 2008 Aberdeen invested £2.5m in Training for Travel Limited, a leading provider of Government funded training services to travel companies and tour operators. The investment will assist Managing Director, Joanne Roche, and Operations Director, Beverley Platt, in the delivery of their expansion plans for the business, with the aim of doubling turnover within the next three years.

Lancashire based Training for Travel provides training services in areas such as customer service, team leadership, business administration as well as industry qualifications and employee assessments. TFT works for a number of household names including TUI, Co-operative Travel, Apollo Travel, Carlson Wagonlit, Cosmos and Virgin Holidays, and plans to expand into related areas such as leisure and tourism.
