Robert Beattie – Senior Investment Manager

Robert Beattie is a senior investment manager on the private equity team, responsible for the management of HIE Ventures Limited. Robert joined Aberdeen in 1995 setting up the Inverness office. Robert has managed the highland based venture capital fund, HIEVentures Ltd since 1995 when it was launched. At the end of the first 10 years the fund produced an IRR of 19.87%pa. Previously, Robert worked for TSB Scotland plc as commercial banking manager with responsibility for the Bank’s commercial banking clients in the Highlands & Islands of Scotland. Prior to that, Robert worked for the Royal Bank of Scotland plc.

Robert is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland.
