Hugh Little – Managing Director
Hugh Little qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Young in 1982, and subsequently spent two years on secondment with the Highlands and Islands development board, and two years in the corporate finance division at Ernst & Young, before joining Aberdeen Asset Management PLC in 1987, initially working on acquisitions, before moving into private equity in 1990. He has overseen the growth of the business since then, including a number of successful strategic acquisitions and product launches. He has been managing director of Aberdeen Asset Managers Private Equity since September 2004, and sits on both the executive and investment committees.
