US Fixed Income

We have been managing fixed income portfolios in Philadelphia since June 1989 when the team was created as the start-up US fixed income business for Morgan Grenfell. The team and products are well regarded, a reputation forged on the back of consistently strong investment results and a distinctive process. We believe that our investment process creates a unique and a differentiated approach to investing, being based on a pure security selection approach rather than relying on top-down factors such as interest rate forecasting or sector rotation.

The US Core bond product is the original and founding product of the Philadelphia team, and remains the largest and best known being highly competitive. Our Core Plus product is also highly regarded and illustrates our long-standing relationship with the London office; the product has evolved since 1991 and has always been jointly managed.

The team has a long track record, with the seven senior investors having an average of 20 years industry experience, 10 years with the company.
