Emerging Market Debt Quarter 1 Update

January 2010

Brett Diment, Head of Emerging Markets Debt, provides an update on market conditions and an outlook for emerging market Debt. There continues to be value in EMD, an asset class which is expected to see good growth in 2010. A comparison is made between emerging countries and highly-indebted developed economies, and possible rate hikes are commented on. Finally, risks in the asset class are highlighted especially rising food prices.
