Dividend Reinvestment and Cash Purchase Plan

A Dividend Reinvestment Plan ("DRIP") and Cash Purchase Plan (the "Plan") is available for shareholders in the Aberdeen Asia-Pacific Income Investment Company Limited.

The DRIP allows the automatic re-investment of dividends in the Company's Ordinary Shares at favorable commission rates. The Plan also permits additional cash investments in shares of at least $100 per month, up to a maximum of $20,000 per fiscal year of the Company. Under this arrangement, CIBC Mellon (the "Plan Agent") will purchase shares for you on the open market on, or about, the 15th of each month.
