We’re proud to be sponsoring the British Dragon Association in the 2011 Edinburgh Cup and the 2011 Dragon South Coast Championships. This continues our commitment to the Dragons which began over 5 years ago.

Aberdeen and the British Dragon Assocation

We first sponsored the prestigious Dragon Class in the 2006 Aberdeen Dragon European Championships, hosted by the Royal Yacht Squadron in Cowes.

Now we’re sponsors of the British Dragon Association which is the national governing body of the Dragon Class and organiser of all national Dragon sailing regattas.

About the British Dragon Association

Part of the British Dragon Association, the Dragon Class is one of the largest one-design keelboat Classes. It has fleets in over 26 countries around the world.

An Olympic Class from 1948 to 1972, many leading international sailors are members – even royalty: His Majesty King Constantine of Greece (Gold Medallist at the 1960 Olympics) and HRH Prince Henrik of Denmark.
