Aberdeen Asset Management and JazzFM have teamed up with a new London jazz venue, Boisdale of Canary Wharf, to launch The Discovery Show. Each week The Discovery Show searches to host the very best undiscovered talent in Blues, Soul, Funk, Jazz. Jazz FM will record the live performances every Wednesday for their Tuesday night show at 9pm UK time.
About the Discovery Show
The Discovery Show was launched on the 14th of April by revered musician Jools Holland, Boisdale’s ‘Patron of Music’. The first night played host to Kate Threlfall, a singer-songwriter-pianist from Liverpool who possesses a voice of sheer beauty and unbelievable soul and Bad Ass Brass, fresh from success after winning a Facebook competition to perform at the St. Lucia Jazz Festival they treated the Boisdale crowd to a show of undisputable New Orleans, Funk inspired unadulterated brass.
