The 2007 tournament will take place at the prestigious Muirfield course in Scotland from 26 – 29 July. Famous golfing names already confirmed are Nick Faldo, Seve Ballesteros and Tom Watson.
Aberdeen Asset Management signed this three-year deal in April 2005 to become the Presenting Sponsor of the Seniors Championship.
The deal was agreed with The R&A and The European Seniors Tour.

Jointly sanctioned by the European Seniors Tour, The R&A and the US Champions Tour, the Senior Open Championship is accorded Major status and is contested by some of world golf’s biggest names.
The Championship’s £1million prize fund is the biggest on The European Seniors Tour schedule.
The 2005 Championship - in Aberdeen’s first year of sponsorship - took place at Royal Aberdeen Golf Club and was won by the USA’s Tom Watson.
The 2006 Championship was contested over the famous Ailsa Course at Scotland's Westin Turnberry Resort and was won by Loren Roberts.
Live or delayed live TV coverage of the 2006 Championship was broadcast to over 165 million households worldwide and attended by over 20,000 spectators.
